Milky Bay Resort is on the idyllic beach of Ban Tai. The naturally landscaped beautiful gardens, long white sandy beachfront area decorated with tropical style and the unique sunset lounge swimming pool will make Milky Bay a place to remember. The rooms all have air-con and hot water. The factiliites are excellent, including beach bar with pool tables and ping pong, beach volleyball and well-organised fishing trips. There is a superb beachfront barbecue area where you can cook your catch of the day fresh!
The long beach at Ao Ban Tai has long been a favourite of many returning visitors to Koh Phangan and is part of the long unbroken stretch of white sand beach that runs from Ban Khai right the way up to Thongsala. Most of the land along the coastline has been farmed as coconut plantation and the area takes on a dreamy desert island feel with palms leaning in to the calm emerald sea. Ao Ban Tai has a broad beach that is protected from the high seas by the rich coral reef that follows the south and west coastline, providing a haven for beautiful and harmless marine life and a great place to go snorkelling.
The resorts are generously spaced on the long beach of Ao Ban Tai, making it easy to find solitude; and there are also a few beach bars if you fancy a drink under the stars. The fishing village of Ban Tai has some great places to try the local seafood and there are even a couple of party venues including the Black Moon and Half Moon events if you fancy dancing the night away on the white sand beach.

The bungalows at Milky Bay all come with air-con and water as standard. The decor inside the rooms is pleasing with soft cotton sheets and a range of furniture. Each room has a spacious balcony with sea or garden views.

Cancellation Policy
- Any reservations cancelled AFTER issue of "Confirmation Voucher" and notified in writing 48 hours prior to check-in, the following charges will incur:
- If paid by credit card:
Baht 500 handling charges. Refund will be returned to the original credit card used minus 5% credit card fees. - If paid by credit cash:
Baht 500 handling charges. Refund will be returned in cash. - Any reservations cancelled AFTER issue of "Confirmation Voucher" and notified in writing less than 48 hours prior to check-in, the following charges will incur:
- If paid by credit card:
One-night cancellation fee by the hotel + Baht 500 handling charges. Refund will be returned to the original credit card used minus credit card surcharge of 5%. - If paid by credit cash:
One-night cancellation fee by the hotel + Baht 500 handling charges. Refund will be returned in cash. - Reservation cancellation for the below mentioned Peak periods:
- Christmas and New Year peak period runs from 15 December till 20 January.
- Chinese New Year end of January-beginning of February - dates fall on different dates each year, for each year the surcharge period in the hotels is approx from 26 January till 16 February dates to be confirmed per each hotel individually.
- Thailand's Songkran Festival in the month of April, dates fall on different dates each year, for each year the surcharge period in the hotels is approx from 10 April till 17 April.
For peak seasons will usually result in the "NOT REFUNDING" of the deposit paid to the hotels (see Reservations during special peak periods paragraph above) cancellations conditions for the above peak periods will be confirmed per each hotel individually.
