Ko Chang means “Elephant Island” due to its shape and is the second biggest island in Thailand. The island is very popular with tourists and the Thai themselves and still boasts virgin rainforests and remains more peaceful and less developed than other locations such as Ko Samui and Phuket. Many of Ko Chang’s white sandy beaches are often deserted and when combined with rainforests, offer's the ideal places for snorkelling, diving and hiking.
